Big Marlborough Park Project Update
Just North of Ward 9 sits Big Marlborough Park. The City of Calgary has plans to improve park amenities at and create a space that can be enjoyed by Calgarians of all ages.
The project is in the preliminary master plan phase and will focus on conceptualizing and designing park enhancements.
Public Engagement
Residents are invited to attend the second round of public engagement between March 24 and April 21, 2025, either in-person or online.
The objective for this round of engagement is to share preliminary design concepts with community members, showcasing the potential park improvements and gathering feedback to help inform the final recommended park design.
The project team will also share two preliminary design concepts that focus on a recreation hub and a community hub. The final park design may be a combination of elements from each concept and is dependent on feedback, budget, technical, and environmental constraints.
