In late November, the Green Line team hosted three information sessions along the southeast portion of the alignment. We shared the current 60% design for stations between Ramsay/Inglewood and Shepard, as well as plans for bridges and guideways.

The IC19, IC18, IC17 and IC16 outfalls located on the east bank of the Western Headworks Canal will undergo repairs in November. Repair work will begin with outfalls IC19 and IC18 the first week of November, followed by IC17 and IC16 in late November. Work at these outfalls will include reconnecting pipes that have separated over time, installing new riprap to reduce the water’s force before entering the canal, and restoring any areas on the slope that are disturbed during construction.

Ogden Road from 76 Avenue to 80 Avenue SE will be closed for final asphalt paving and line painting starting Friday, October 18 at 8:00pm until the evening of Sunday, October 20, 2024. (New closure dates as of October 9th.)

As part of the City of Calgary’s annual paving program, pavement rehabilitation work and road maintenance is schedule for Glenmore Trail SE between Barlow Trail SE to 52 Street SE.
City contractor, North Star Contracting, is scheduled to begin milling and paving activities the week of September 16th, with anticipated completion by mid-October. Please note road construction is weather-dependent, and the schedule is subject to change.

Parks Foundation will be hosting the official opening of George Moss Park on September 7, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm
This new park, located in the heart of Ogden, offers a variety of exciting features, including artistic sport courts, an expanded playground and tot lot, and a community plaza with seating and picnic areas.
